Current Research:
Maria Grazia Pennino is currently involved in research focused on developing spatially explicit models to support ecosystem-based fisheries management. Her work integrates environmental, ecological, and socio-economic data to assess the impact of human activities on marine ecosystems. She is also contributing to international projects that aim to improve marine spatial planning and the use of indicators for sustainable ocean management under climate change scenarios.
