Current Research:

My current research focus on marine conservation, fisheries management and climate change, mostly targeting the Mediterranean Sea, with a focus on: i) fishing activities within marine protected areas and their level of protection based on fishing regulations; ii) reported effects of marine protected areas, fisheries restricted areas and effort reduction measures on the marine ecosystem; iii) using marine ecosystem models to assess the effect of specific management measures on the marine ecosystem under climate change scenarios.
