Technician
I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at the Autonomous University of Madrid and decided to continue my studies with a Master’s Degree in Marine Biology at the University of Vigo. During my Master’s, I was awarded a JAE Intro grant at the IIM-CSIC, where I focused on the study of cephalopod ecology and behaviour, and another grant at CIM-ECIMAT, where I conducted my Master’s thesis on the impact of microplastics on the marine copepod Acartia sp. I am currently working as a research technician within the HumanFear project.
Current Research:
I am currently working on the HumanFear project, which aims to study the impact of human presence on fish behaviour in marine ecosystems. As part of the project, I am assisting with fieldwork activities.
In addition, I am also involved in the characterisation of marine recreational fishing through data extracted from social media platforms.
